Changes in minibus routes No. 204, 222 and 280 planned as of November 8 to be cancelled

Given the discontent of customers with the planned changes of some minibus routes, the Commission for Licensing Commercial Passenger Transportation Services, having evaluated the arguments mentioned in the claims of residents, has decided to cancel the previously approved decision to change the routes and operation of minibuses No. 204, 222 and 280.

As the decision is cancelled, the above minibuses will continue running also after November 8, in conformity with the previously approved routes and schedules.

It was also decided that as of November 17 minibus route No. 204, as well as its schedule for workdays and holidays, will be changed. Starting from November 17, the main route of minibus No. 204 will be Jugla-Pļavnieki, yet some runs with highest passenger flow will go to the city centre by the previous route, and these runs will be marked in the schedules, accordingly. Schedules of minibuses No. 222, 270 and 280 will be made more precise.

It should be reminded that the above changes were proposed by minibus company "Rīgas mikroautobusu satiksme", given the proposals of local residents and measurements of passenger flow.
